who we are and why we do this
We are a small team with some big experiences and a serious plan to show that you can have excellent sound, light, and technical solutions for your events without producing the carbon emissions of a small town.
If your taxi driver bragged about how much fuel he planned on burning on the ride to the station you wouldn't be impressed would you?
"Hey boss, it's five litre engine, this is a two gallon gig here: 21 kilos of CO2!"
Unfortunately there tends to be a lot of "My kilowatts are bigger than your Kilowatts" in the world of sound and light. We'll even mumble the K word if we're pressed, it's a source of some reassurance to deaf old guitarists and status-anxiety-fixated vocalists the world over. But it's not how much power you use, it's what you do with it that really counts, and we've had enough friendly conversations with authority figures clutching sound-level meters to know we can be heard in the next village if required.
As for lights, anyone trying to get you to hire their incandescent PAR-cans needs to be reminded that it's the 21st Century now. Obviously, it's a shame they've got a warehouse full of dinosaur technology but their bank repayments aren't your concern. Just say no! Whilst some of the early LED stage lighting gained a bad reputation, due to huge advances in LED technology in the last 5 years the latest equipment is (quite literally) brilliant!
